December 2017 – The St Andrew the Apostle school choir brought festive cheer to Trafalgar Square to help raise money for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.

December 2017 - Congratulations to Narmeen Akl from Turing House School who has received an A* GCSE in Arabic!

November 2017 - The Ogasawara brothers from St Andrew the Apostle School were selected to represent England at the 25th Düsseldorf European Kendo Championships in Frankfurt Germany and in the U13 competition Hideshi finished in a fantastic 4th place in the individual competition while Kazushi won Gold in the U18 team competition.  Nicholas Lecointe-Akore won Gold in his weight division at his first ever English open, Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition.

November 2017 - Se O’Toole from St Andrew the Apostle School won his Republic of Ireland Regional Irish dance competition and has qualified for the World Championships in Glasgow 2018 for the 3rd time

November 2017 – A number of special guests joined Becket Keys School in opening the new Justin Welby Building including The Right Reverend Stephen Cottrell Lord Bishop of Chelmsford; Alex Burghart, MP for Brentwood and Ongar; Cllr Will, Russell Mayor of Brentwood and Cllr Ray Gooding, Cabinet Member for Education. The Justin Welby Building is named after the current Archbishop of Canterbury and the chapel was named the Bishop John Wraw Chapel in the loving memory of our good friend and school governor.

November 2017 - A number of students from the Bristol Free School Programming Club and GCSE Computer Science took part in the Bebras Computation Thinking Challenge. Daniel Brazil in Year 11 (who came first in the WORLD in the Grok Learning challenge in 2016) has been placed in the top 0.4% in the country and has been invited to take part in the next round hosted by The University of Oxford’s Department of Computer Science, and Hertford College in January.

October 2017 - William Horne from Becket Keys School was selected in September to attend a trial for the England U16 Golf team. He received a letter last week to inform him that he was now part of the squad!

September 2017 – Turing House School got its first set of GCSE and AS results. Eita (AS Japanese Grade B), Sam (GCSE Grade A* German), Kai (GCSE Grade A* Japanese), Nina (GCSE Grade A Modern Greek).

September 2017 - Congratulations to Mr O’Sullivan, from Turing House School, who represented Great Britain at the UCI World Amateur Time trial championships in Albi in France. He finished 38th in his age category and was 7th home from 18 British riders.

September 2017 - King's School Hove is very proud to announce that our first GCSE result was an A*! Congratulations to Gavin Mann in our current Year 11 who secured the fantastic result in his GCSE Mandarin exam which he sat a year early.

6th September 2017: The Becket Keys School Sixth Form opened their doors to 6th Form students for the first time.

24th August 2017: Becket Keys School received their first full set of GCSE results from the founding cohort with 80% of students achieving both English and mathematics at grade 9-4.

July 2017: Year 11 students from Becket Keys School visited Costa Rica as part of the World Challenge programme.

18th June 2017: Students from King’s School Hove took part in a fantastic 'flash mob' dance performance, outside of Churchill Square shopping centre.

June 2017: Turing House Teacher Mr O’Sullivan qualified to represent Great Britain in the UCI World Championships in Albi this August.

May 2017: A Year 8 student from King’s School Hove won three gold medals at the Regional Swimming Championships.

May 2017: A Year 8 student from King’s School Hove won the Volunteer Police Cadet of the Year Award for the South East Region.

16th March 2017 - Father Themi of the Greek Orthodox Church visited St Andrew the Apostle to speak to students about his work with children and families in Sierra Leone.

1st December 2016: King's school Hove helped launch the ninth annual Brighton Beach Hut Advent Calendar

21st October 2016: A Year 8 student from St Andrew the Apostle School has beaten off more than 5300 competitors to win a prize for his money and finance abilities in the national My Money Week schools’ competition.

September 2016: Following on from her successful Silver medal in July, Turing House Teacher Ms Wilkinson achieved a World Silver Medal for Team GB in the Aquathlon in Mexico last week
